Sacma introduces the new 5 dies progressive headers model SP360SL-CR-SM with a longer DKO and an integrated pointing unit for production of Engine Bolts. This machine allows to have the bolts already formed and pointed before the heat treatment and to reduce the stock of unfinished parts in production.
This lean production line permits to run Engine Bolts with max. 160 mm. shaft length, M12 thread with 12.9 or more High strength steel.

The heading station consists in:
► S-Feed precision feeding system driven by servomotor
► Electronic hand wheel for slow motion machine positioning
► Quick Change Tool system: die block, punch block with wedges, transfer unit
► Desmodrive transfer with additional finger for finished parts, self-coupling, hydraulic fixing system, hydraulic clamping of timing cams, variable phase timing

The pointing station consists in:
► Pointing system with working-stroke control system
► Quick change pointing tool holder, with
► Set-Up Jigs for tools centering and starter setting

The patented S-Feed System is supplied as a standard feature to feed the machine automatically and to perfectly complete the equipment of SP360CR-SL-SM . With this new device, the operator has only to set-up the length of the blank on the SC-Touch Panel Control and the machine takes care about the over or lower wire feeding. Another strategic point is the possibility to use the S-Feed in alternate blow mode to reduce the machine load.

Sacma shows its “WF workshop” to demonstrate its unique induction system available for the whole range of fully proven warm formers. On occasion of Wire 2014 Sacma will explain and demonstrate that our Warm Formers are assembled with state of the art designed features and components that ensure an exceptional performance and a reliability unobtainable from any other manufacturer.

To complete its whole range, Ingramatic continues to invest in R&D with its new model RP420-M. Eliminating the use of hand tools and making all machine adjustments and set ups through the remote Electronic Handwheel is a real revolution. This provides to the operator a precise control of the height position and rails width, of the die match with the adjustable drive unit position; and the set-up of the single starter unit. Thanks to these solutions, set-ups can be made in less than 2 minutes using the touchscreen panel! As a standard feature, Ingramatic supplies the New Introduction System of the single starter unit which is activated by a servomotor used to control the starter slides movement. The “M-Group” provides the motorization of the drive unit and the slide body position for a quick and accurate control of the die match.

RP420-M for Simple use for the operator – Electronic handwheel can be used for a precise jog control, for easy and quick setups and for all machine adjustments – die match – feed rail position – starter unit, eliminating the use of hand tools.

Ingramatic shows also its RP620-M to demonstrate its new double starter unit activated by servomotors to thread medium and long bolts. The RP620-M is designed to run automotive bolts after heat treatment from M10 up to M16.‎ This revolutionary thread rolling machine features a lot of innovations like the double starter unit with its exclusive self-learning adjustment. To start the starter fingers’ adjustments, the machine goes automatically to the zero location of the slide body to place all systems in the setup position. The technician simply places a blank in the starting position between the dies and using the electronic hand wheel, moves the starter fingers to touch the blank and then with a quick click on the touch screen panel, saves the adjustments to the machine’s PLC system. The setup of the starter unit can be completed in less than 2 minutes without any hand tools!
